Z-TAC Drills (Shooting Drill No 3) - Trigger Control

Welcome to the Z-TAC Drills series using only our AIM SMALL tactical training target.

This drill is simple. We will be working on improving your trigger technique. Good trigger control is hard to master and it's often the reason why you miss the target. Even a small movement of the gun while squeezing the trigger might cause round to go a few inches out of your aiming point. Let's make sure that we have got it right and practice it to perfection.

Always remember to use your eye and ears protection when shooting!

COMMENTS

This is a technical drill, often referred to as 'surprise break' The key is to have a good grip and squeeze the trigger in a smooth, straight motion to avoid moving the muzzle during the process. The speed adds the extra difficulty.
